Asthma is a serious lung disease that affects millions of people worldwide. In this disease, the muscles in the airways tighten and narrow the airways. In addition, phlegm builds up inside. This makes it difficult to breathe. Sometimes symptoms such as wheezing (noisy breathing), coughing, and chest pain occur. Physical reactions to asthma can be triggered by dust, smoke, cold, allergies, and exercise. Although asthma cannot be completely cured, it can be well controlled with medication.
The main symptoms of asthma include cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and wheezing. These, though minor, can sometimes be life-threatening.
In India alone, about 1.7 crore asthma cases are reported every year. Of these, 1.98 lakh deaths occur as a result of environmental factors. What is most alarming is that about 90% of patients do not receive the right medication.
Asthma medications are safe and effective. Asthma medications are generally not dangerous. Medications are safe and effective when used as directed by a doctor. Some people may need to take asthma medications continuously, but this does not lead to dependence (or dependence) on the medication. Therefore, asthma medications do not become less effective or unsafe even after long-term use. Importantly, these medications are given to ensure that the disease is controlled.
Asthma is a disease that can start at any age. While some children may not develop asthma as a serious condition, it is often diagnosed in adults. For many, asthma becomes a chronic lung disease that can last a lifetime. With proper treatment and management, asthma can be well controlled, and people of all ages can lead normal lives.
People with asthma do not have to avoid exercise and physical activities. With the help of proper treatment and medication, they can exercise safely. Instead, exercise helps improve physical fitness and lung function. Following an exercise regimen as recommended by your doctor can help you control your asthma and lead a healthy life.
Asthma is a potentially life-threatening condition, especially if it is not treated properly. With proper treatment and control, people with asthma can lead normal lives. However, if left untreated or poorly controlled, it can cause serious problems and, in rare cases, even be life-threatening. Therefore, it is essential to always keep the disease under control and use the medicines without delay.
Treatment of asthma should not be carried out only when symptoms appear. Many people may have minor problems in the airways even when they are not symptomatic. Therefore, it is essential to use the medicines regularly as prescribed by the doctor and follow the correct methods to control the disease. This helps to avoid severe asthma attacks and prevent damage to the lungs.
Wheezing is the main symptom. In addition to wheezing, asthma can also cause symptoms such as cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and increased coughing at night. Symptoms may vary from person to person. Therefore, a doctor's help is necessary to properly diagnose and treat this disease. Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease, there is no complete and permanent cure or treatment for it. However, with sufficient knowledge, controlled treatment, and strict adherence to treatment regimens, asthma can be effectively controlled and the patient's quality of life can be improved. By recognizing the warning signs of the onset of the disease early, considering environmental factors, and using adequate medications on time, sufferers can lead a normal and productive life. This holistic treatment approach not only helps to alleviate asthma, but also to reduce its severity, and therefore save lives. Therefore, by dispelling misconceptions about asthma, adopting health knowledge and proper treatment plans, we should move forward with the hope that everyone can successfully overcome this disease. It is clear that asthma can be overcome only when people of all ages pay attention to health care.
