Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, under the Caritas LIFE (Caritas Social Responsibility) initiative, successfully conducted an awareness session on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Common Emergencies at St. Peter & Paul Church, Mrala on March 14, 2026.

The session was led by Dr. Vivek R, HOD & Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences., who provided practical guidance on recognizing medical emergencies and performing life-saving interventions such as CPR.

The program aimed to equip the public with essential skills to respond effectively during critical situations until professional medical help arrives. The interactive session helped participants gain valuable knowledge and confidence to act promptly in emergency situations, reinforcing the importance of community awareness in saving lives.
