Caritas Hospital & Institute of Health Sciences, in association with LIFE – Caritas Social Responsibility, successfully organized an awareness session on “Basic Life Support and Common Emergencies” for members of the Women Entrepreneur Network (WEN), Kottayam at Caesar Palace.

The session was led by Dr. Vivek R., HOD & Senior Consultant – Emergency Medicine, Caritas Hospital, who shared valuable insights on recognizing medical emergencies and responding effectively during critical situations. Participants were introduced to essential Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques, emergency response measures, and practical steps that can help save lives before professional medical assistance arrives.

The interactive session empowered attendees with the knowledge and confidence to act promptly during emergencies, reinforcing the importance of community preparedness and lifesaving skills.
