National Pharmacovigilance Week 2026, ‘Vigilant 26’, jointly organized by the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and ADR Monitoring Centre of Caritas Hospital and Caritas College of Pharmacy, concluded successfully. Held from September 17 to 23, 2026, the observance helped create greater awareness in the community about the safe use of medicines.

A variety of programmes were organized as part of the week, including a flash mob, ADR awareness classes, the inter-college quiz competition ‘VigiQuiz’, the launch of a new ADR form, and pamphlet distribution. The presence and leadership of Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director, Caritas Hospital; Rev. Fr. John Poochakkattil, Joint Director; Dr. Bobby N. Abraham, Medical Director; Dr. Prasoon Kuruvila, Medical Superintendent; Prof. Dr. Sajan Jose, Principal, Caritas College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Eva John, Organizing Secretary, added further strength to this initiative.
