A free medical camp was organized as part of the 'Oommen Chandy Snehasparsham' project jointly organized by Manna Charitable Trust and Caritas Hospital. The camp was held on May 4 at the St. George's Church Auditorium, Manvettom. MLA Mons Joseph, Malliyoor Parameswaran Namboothiri, Deepika Publications Managing Director Fr. Michael Vettikat, and Dr. Maria Oommen, Managing Trustee of Manna Trust, were present at the inauguration of the camp.

The camp provided free services to specialist doctors in various departments including cardiology, orthopedics, general medicine, ENT, gynecology, and dermatology, pulmonology as well as tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, echo, and pulmonology function tests.
