Caritas Hospital wrapped up its Women's Day celebrations, marking the end of the International Women's Day festivities.

In association with the International Women's Day, Caritas Hospital hosted Sakhi 2024 Women's Day celebrations. The special talent show "Inspire 2024" wowed the crowd on March 7 at the Jubilee Hall, featuring talented nursing and Pharmacology students from Caritas Nursing & Pharmacy College. This event gave these students a chance to show off their skills beyond their studies. A "Photo Cave" was also set up in the hospital foyer to honour the women working hard in healthcare.

Beyond the hospital premises, with the active participation of women in the community and nearby areas, on March 8, Kottayam District Collector V. Vigneshwari IAS graced a special event hosted in association with Sakhi 2024, inspiring and empowering women in the area. The event emphasised how important women are in shaping society and making progress. Lovely George - Kottayam Municipal Councillor, presided over the ceremony, which was formally Inaugurated by V. Vigneshwari IAS.

The official theme for Sakhi 2024 was "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress." A panel discussion dug deep into this theme. Eminent personalities like Sandya Grace (Assistant Editor at Malayala Manorama), Chinnu Mathew (Founder of Hangout Play World Park), Andrea Rebeca Jacob (National Roller-Skating Champion) and Anoosha George (Social Media influencer) discussed how supporting women in healthcare and education can help society grow.
