Time Is Brain!

In connection with World Stroke Day, Caritas Hospital, in association with the Southern Railway Thiruvananthapuram Division, organised a stroke awareness session and medical camp for porters at Kottayam Railway Station on October 28, highlighting the importance of timely intervention in stroke treatment.

The awareness session focused on recognising the symptoms of stroke and the importance of ensuring immediate medical care. The session was led by Dr. Joseph Sebastian, Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Neurology at Caritas Hospital. Dr. Rashmi from the Department of Neurology and a dietitian provided medical consultations. Dr. Mujeeb Rahman, Additional Divisional Medical Officer at Kottayam Railway Station, and Pradeep S., Station Manager, also participated in the programme.
