The comprehensive Cardiology and Mammogram Screening Camp, ‘Arogyasabha’, organized by Caritas Hospital for the Members of the Kerala Legislative Assembly, commenced in Thiruvananthapuram. The camp, being held on October 14 and 15, witnessed the participation of several legislators and officials.

The camp was inaugurated jointly by Rev. Dr. Binu Kunnath, Director and CEO of Caritas Hospital; Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly; and Shri. K. Muraleedharan, Kerala Health Minister. Kerala Deputy Speaker Smt. Shanimol Usman, Ettumanoor MLA Shri. Nattakom Suresh, Chathannoor MLA Shri. B. B. Gopakumar, Payyannur MLA Shri. V. Kunhikrishnan, and others also attended the function.

The camp's activities were coordinated by a team of doctors and staff under the leadership of Dr. Johny Joseph, Head of the Department of Cardiology and Senior Consultant at Caritas Hospital, and Dr. Jose Jom Thomas, Consultant in Community Medicine.

The key features of the camp include comprehensive cardiac health check-ups, mammogram-based breast cancer screening, and consultations with specialist doctors.
