The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at the Caritas Hospital offers comprehensive care for all disorders related to the ear, nose, and throat. The Department is one of the best centers in Central Travancore providing:
- General ENT surgeries including septoplasty, SMR, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, pre-auricular cyst excision, Caldwell-luc, dental cyst enucleation and cosmetic septorhinoplasty
- Micro ear surgeries including tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, modified radical mastoidectomy

Audiology
Audiology and speech –language pathology is designed to provide for the development of advanced knowledge and skills related to the professions that specialize in communication disorders, speech language pathology, hearing and speech and language science. Audiologists treat those with hearing loss and proactively prevent damage. Employing various testing strategies, audiologists aim to determine whether someone has normal sensitivity to sounds. If hearing loss is identified, audiologists determine which portions of hearing are affected, to what degree and where the lesion causing the hearing loss is found. In addition to diagnostic audiologic and vestibular pathologies , audiologists can also specialize in rehabilitation of tinnitus, hyperacusis, auditory processing disordes, cochlear implant use and hearing aid use. The scope of practice as determined by the American speech-language-hearing association for these professions; multicultural service delivery for individuals with communication disorders; practice settings; employment opportunities; and the use of technology in management and treatment of communication disorders.
