ORTHOPAEDICS DEPARTMENT
 
This department is in the close network of casualty and trauma units.
It offers closed reduction of fractures, fracture treatment with external fixators, corrective surgery for birth defects and mends bones, new or old.
The department uses C-Arm image intensifier, Arthroscope with shaver system, ventilators etc. The department plans to adopt minimally invasive procedures for treatment of fractures and undertake more complex joint replacements.

PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION (PM & R) DEPARTMENT
 
 
The interventions of the department with respect to patient care fall in to medical, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and social work. It means a holistic care to patients. Physiotherapy includes acute care management, mobility training, training in activities of daily living and psychological support. Occupational therapy aims at making patients functionally independent. Thus, “paraplegics shall walk, Amputees shall run..."
